Ayrial McDonald, Owner - Primary Caregiver
Welcome to Blue Haven Personal Care Home, my name is Ayrial McDonald and I’ve worked with Senior care for a little over 10 years. I started in High school gaining my CNA license and getting my first job at BayBrooke Nursing and rehabilitation center in McKinney, Tx. I knew then that elder care was my calling.
Once I graduated from The University of North Texas with my Bachelor’s I began working as a Medical Assistant with Wellmed Supportive and Palliative care. Working with this company we visit elderly patients and provide in home medical care.
This brought along the idea of opening a personal care home for elders who need a safe and loving place to call home. Here at Blue Haven we provide the love and care of a family, while maintaining each resident’s independence.
Marissa Jubert, Owner - Caregiver
My name Marissa Jubert co-owner of Blue Haven. I have a background in residential care and own a residential treatment center for youth in Anna, TX. I am a veteran and have served this country on this continent and overseas. I have a beautiful family with a husband and 3 children. We love to serve and be of service. It is our privilege to be able to care for the elder and make them a part of our family.
The idea for Blue Haven comes from experiences with my grandparents. They were being in nursing homes they did not want to be in during their last years of life. My grandmother who passed away in 2022 would say I’m ready to go home every time I went to see her. This was hard on our family and we decided to just grant her wish to and took her home. At home we got to decide who visited and how many people were allowed in the room, even have her birthday we could all attend. She was very happy right up until her last breath. Blue Haven represents the freedom everyone should have to be loved and cared for even in the last days of life. You can’t get that in a nursing home.
Home Dedicated To...
Our grandmother’s warmth and wisdom touched everyone who knew her. Though her presence is no longer with us, her love and the memories we shared will forever hold a special place in our heart’s. We find comfort in those cherished moments and the legacy of her kindness.
